Well, Paul Newman rode off into the sunset yesterday.

He said of car racing "It was the first thing I ever found that I had any grace in"

That pretty much sucks.

Thats what your good at.
They closed down Lime Rock Park race track the other day so that Paul Newman could take a few last laps. I'm sure you've seen in the news that he has terminal cancer and isn't expected to last past Sept. It wouldn't surprise me if he held on longer and I hope he does.
I can only recall really caring about two or three people in Hollywood and thinking it is tragedy that they won't be around. Paul Newman and Phil Hartman come to mind.
Paul Newman to me is probably one of the coolest guys that ever lived. And he seems (I don't know him) like a geniunely nice and good person at the same time. I count the Hustler, Cool Hand Luke, and Butch Cassidy among my all time favorite films.
Anyway it will suck when he leaves the building, but I'm sure the Jonas Brothers and Justin Timberlake will set a good example for young boys on what 'cool' should be.
