SEMA Update
Thursday, November 6, 2008

Out here in Las Vegas for the SEMA show, one of the largest trade shows I think in the world, for this week. Holy smokes. If you're even moderately interested in cars this is pretty amazing. We've walked around for 3 days roughly 8 hours each day and still have only seen about 2/3rds of the exhibits. I'll wrap up the Democross piece next week, hopefully with some videos and pictures. In the meantime some highlights from our trip so far.

No picture (thankfully) but a guy was drunk last night in the Treasure Island casino and had obviously wet his pants. He was trying to 'mop' it up with paper towels and it wasn't working very well. Pretty awesome.

Carroll Shelby

Ahh the wheel and tire room!! Reemz by Don Corleone - seriously!

A 1350 HP Drag Race Rolls Royce, this thing was awesome. Leather wrapped roll bar and NOS bottle holder. It looked 'factory'.

This was at the GM tent, we saw a bunch of smoke and thought a huge launch of a product or something cool! Nope car was on fire, whoops.

Paul Senior from the Motorcycle show, he seemed pretty cool.
